The company was founded on 12 February 2021. Tribal Farmers from Scheduled Areas (PESA) of Ambegaon, Junnar, and Akole talukas of Pune and Ahmednagar districts joined hands and, by the special provisions of the Companies Act (1956), established the Sahyadri Adivasi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited for their overall development. The company's founders set out to fill a gap in the marketplace by developing agricultural resources, strategies, expertise, capital, and infrastructure.

"The company's mission is to gather together small tribal farmers in remote places for agricultural seeds, fertilizers, capital, information, and extension services (Backward Linkages) and to create additional connections for the collective marketing process and market oriented agricultural products."
The goal of Sustainable development will be attained through several numbers of different means, including but not limited to boosting productivity in the Scheduled Area, building infrastructure, making better use of resources, cutting production costs, increasing crop intensity, introducing farmers to high-value crops, and establishing and enhancing connections between communities.
The distance between farmers and the market will be closed by cutting-edge technology. The corporation will implement the federal programme to increase farm incomes by 100 percent.
